CJES Entertainment announced on the 3rd that it will change its company name to CJES Studio.
Baek Chang-joo, CEO of CJES Studio, said, "We are focusing on content development by encompassing planning, production, casting, and VFX (visual effects) post-production," adding, "We will also challenge another dimension of content through the virtual human management business."
CJES Studio merged with its subsidiary CJES Gulliver Studio at the end of last year. In 2022, it expanded its business scope by participating as a co-producer of the hit movie Owl and the OTT Disney+ series Casino. This year, it will release the movie Citizen Deok-hee starring actress Ra Mi-ran.
Additionally, it plans to debut the male idol group "Made in CJES" (M.I.C) in the second half of this year.
