CJ OnStyle Launches 'OnCubating' Program to Discover and Nurture H&B Small Brands

Large-scale Recruitment of H&B Small Brands with Discriminative Materials and Functionalities
Providing Various Opportunities Including CJ OnStyle Multi-Channel Entry
Offering Support Worth 100 Million KRW and VC Investment Opportunities Through Demo Day

CJ OnStyle announced on the 3rd that it will launch a new ’ON Cubating' program to support the growth of domestic H&B (Health & Beauty) small and medium-sized brands. The program aims to discover and nurture early-stage new brands with potential, introduce new brands to consumers, and help these brands develop differentiated competitiveness.

The ON Cubating program focuses on discovering competitive small and medium-sized brands with differentiated ingredients or functional products in the health functional food and beauty sectors. The plan is to expand the product portfolio and create an ecosystem where small and medium-sized brands can grow together.


CJ OnStyle is recruiting the first batch through the ON Cubating website until the 14th and plans to make this a regular program in the future. The selection process involves document and face-to-face evaluations considering ▲product competitiveness ▲brand growth potential ▲channel suitability to select the first batch of brands for entry. After entry, performance evaluations both internally and externally will be conducted for up to six months to decide on additional nurturing and investment support.


Brands finally selected for the ON Cubating program will receive various customized solutions, including sales expansion support using CJ OnStyle’s multi-channel capabilities, product quality improvement support, brand planning and promotional consulting, and overseas promotion and sales support. Additionally, matching opportunities with investment institutions such as IMM Investment, A Ventures, and Gravity PE, which participate in ON Cubating, will be provided. Brand nurturing and growth will also be supported in collaboration with various partners specializing in brand development, including Boosters (brand aggregator), Unidcoms (commerce solution company), Adqua (integrated marketing company), and Storelink (marketing platform company).


A demo day will be held at the end of the year. Brands that demonstrate excellent performance will be selected to receive a total of approximately 100 million KRW in support funds and opportunities to attract venture capital (VC) investment, actively supporting the growth of the brands.
