This culture festival was a democratic-themed planned performance under the theme of “The Shout That Awakened the Brilliant Spring.”
In particular, current students and alumni from seven schools that participated in the 3·15 Uprising hung promise trees together, pledging to pass on the legacy of the democratic citizens who made the 3·15 Uprising to the MZ generation.
The performance opened with a North Korea media performance, followed by fusion gugak band Shinbi, Gyeongnam Little Singers, Chumseori dance performance, and a memorial and harmony choir (tenor Kim Jihyun, dancer Shin Minki, etc.), captivating the citizens of Changwon.
Director Kim said, “I am pleased that the spirit of 3·15 has been reborn through a performance called the Veterans Culture Festival. I hope this will be a valuable time to reconsider the value of democracy and the value of veterans.”
The Gyeongnam Eastern Regional Office plans to promote cultural events throughout the year that combine performances and arts under the themes of independence, national defense, and democracy.
