Selection of 3 Local Social Venture Companies by the 21st, Strengthening Investment Attraction Capabilities through Management Diagnosis and IR Consulting
Systematic Support for Growth Potential Companies by Connecting Actual Investment after Demo Day Presenting Business to Investors
Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jung Won-oh) is recruiting participating companies for the ‘Social Venture Scale-up’ program to strengthen the investment attraction capabilities of local social venture companies until the 21st.
This project selects social venture companies with growth potential and provides customized mentoring, investment attraction consulting, demo day hosting, and investor connection support for each company. It targets local social ventures within 7 years of establishment.
Companies wishing to participate can apply by the 21st, and the final 3 selected companies will receive customized consulting for about 3 months. The program conducts business model review, sets growth goals for each company, and provides IR (Investor Relations) consulting for promotional activities targeting investors.
After consulting, a demo day will be held to present the business to investors. Additionally, a 1:1 meeting day with participating investors will be conducted to systematically support actual investment connections.
The program started in 2020 and is now in its 4th year. Selected social venture companies have successfully attracted actual investments, collaborated with large corporations, and continued steady growth by winning various competitions.
In particular, participating company representatives showed high satisfaction with the program, citing ‘business direction advice through objective company diagnosis,’ ‘improvement of IR quality through meticulous consulting,’ and ‘meetings with investors individually.’
Jung Won-oh, Mayor of Seongdong-gu, said, “We will continue to implement various support policies so that social venture companies can receive practical support through the scale-up program, grow, and lead social innovation.”
