Former President Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook visited Tongyeong City, Gyeongnam, to attend the opening of the '2023 Tongyeong International Music Festival' on the 31st.

The former president and his wife arrived at the Tongyeong International Music Hall at around 6:35 PM that day.

The sight of former President Moon with his white hair and unkempt beard was noticeable.

The couple immediately visited the grave of the late composer Yun Isang, located next to the Tongyeong International Music Hall, to pay their respects.

Some supporters welcomed former President Moon's visit to Tongyeong, saying, "President, please always stay healthy." President Moon also waved to the supporters.

Afterwards, the former president and his wife watched the 'Tongyeong Festival Orchestra' performance held at the concert hall of the Tongyeong International Music Hall.

The couple had previously visited composer Yun's grave during the G20 summit held in Germany in July 2017, where Mrs. Kim planted a camellia tree brought from Tongyeong next to the grave. Composer Yun's remains returned to his hometown Tongyeong in 2018 and were buried at this site.
