Park Bo-hyun made a hole-in-one at the Augusta National Women's Amateur (ANWA).
On the 31st (Korean time), Park Bo-hyun's tee shot on the 8th hole (par 3) of the second round of the 4th ANWA, held at Champions Retreat Golf Club (par 72) in Evans, Georgia, USA, went into the hole. It was the first hole-in-one in the history of the tournament. Park Bo-hyun hit a 140-yard shot with an 8-iron. The ball rolled on the green and disappeared into the hole. Park said, "At the 6th hole, I talked with my caddie about the pin position and felt like a hole-in-one might happen," adding, "I was surprised to make a hole-in-one two holes later on the 8th hole."

Park Bo-hyun scored one hole-in-one, five birdies, and five bogeys to finish with a 2-under-par 70. She advanced to the final third round, which only 30 players qualify for, tied for 9th place (1-under-par 143). The final round will be held at Augusta National Golf Club (par 72), where the Masters Tournament takes place. Park Bo-hyun plays for the University of Texas golf team and entered this tournament ranked 46th in the amateur world rankings. She expressed confidence, saying, "I have played rounds at Augusta National during my college days, and since I have good memories from then, I will aim for a good result."
Lim Ji-yoo, a national team member of the Korea Golf Association, recorded five birdies and four bogeys for a 1-under-par 71. She is tied for 6th place (2-under-par 142). Lim said, "I was disappointed because of small mistakes rather than big ones," and explained, "The grass was different, so it was not easy to read the line." She added, "It is an honor to step onto Augusta National as an amateur, and it will be an unforgettable day."
On the other hand, national team member Kim Min-sol finished tied for 37th place (4-over-par 148) and did not advance to the third round. Kim reflected, "It wasn't enough just to hit straight," and said, "I learned a lot." Kim will participate in the Goindol Cup in Korea next week and then compete in the KLPGA Tour Mediheal·Korea Daily Championship. Rose Zhang (USA), ranked number one in the amateur world rankings, is leading the ANWA with a score of 13-under-par 131.
