Comprehensive home appliance company Shinil Electronics announced on the 31st that it held the '64th Annual General Meeting of Shareholders' in the large conference room on the 2nd floor of the Shinil Electronics headquarters in Cheonan, Chungnam.
At the meeting, the business report, audit report, and internal accounting management system operation status report were presented. Then, five agenda items were all approved as originally proposed: approval of financial statements (cash dividend of 10 KRW per share), appointment of an inside director (1 person, Jung Yoon-seok), appointment of an outside director (1 person, Jo Byung-hak), approval of the director remuneration limit (2.75 billion KRW), and approval of the auditor remuneration limit (100 million KRW).
On the day, Shinil announced that last year it recorded sales of 202.7 billion KRW, operating profit of 2.8 billion KRW, and net profit of 1 billion KRW. Additionally, President Jung Yoon-seok was reappointed as an inside director (CEO) for a three-year term.
CEO Jung Yoon-seok stated, “Although the uncertain business environment will continue this year, we plan to make every effort to enhance sales growth and profitability. We intend to maximize profitability by strengthening the competitiveness of core products such as seasonal home appliances and to reinforce our portfolio as a comprehensive home appliance company through the development of new products that meet market changes and consumer needs.”
