Conducted PoC for IT Infrastructure Status Analysis to Assess Cloud Migration Suitability of Business Systems Using Playce RoRo

Using Playce RoRo, developed by Open Source Consulting, they successfully conducted a PoC for KB Capital's cloud suitability assessment and IT infrastructure status analysis.

KB Capital utilized Playce RoRo, developed by Open Source Consulting, to conduct a pilot cloud migration suitability assessment for some business systems.
Playce RoRo provides a network topology view that visualizes the network relationships of servers and resources configured in the service, allowing users to grasp them at a glance through automated analysis functions.
Through the PoC, KB Capital was able to understand the interrelationships of numerous applications and interface information within the system, as well as the cloud suitability and readiness for each service.
An Open Source Consulting representative explained that the cloud suitability assessment function provided by Playce RoRo is very useful for prioritizing services for cloud migration and establishing migration plans based on that.
Playce RoRo evaluates cloud migration suitability from both technical and business perspectives for each service, enabling users to identify workload-specific cloud migration ease and migration risks.
Open Source Consulting used Playce RoRo to update hardware resources and conduct detailed analysis (Deep discovery) and diagnosis/assessment of operating systems, middleware, and Java applications.
By identifying unidentified services and servers not registered in the inventory through automated tools and understanding infrastructure relationships that are difficult for managers to verify, potential issues during actual cloud migration can be identified, reducing risks and shortening project duration.
A KB Capital representative stated, “Since different personnel are responsible for each task, it was difficult to grasp updated information about the entire system, but with Playce RoRo, we can quickly understand the entire system information without collecting information from each task manager, which is very efficient.”
Playce RoRo, developed by Open Source Consulting, has obtained GS Certification Grade 1 and provides automated diagnosis and analysis functions for AS-IS systems that must be performed during cloud migration, enabling up to 40% reduction in time and cost compared to manual efforts.
Additionally, it offers a cloud readiness evaluation function for existing business systems during cloud migration, providing insights helpful for establishing cloud migration plans and can also be utilized in consulting areas.
