Gochang-gun, Jeonbuk, will hold the 1st Gochang Cherry Blossom Festival from the 31st to the 2nd of next month in the Seokjeong Oncheon District.
According to the county on that day, this festival, themed "Is it Love, Spring," is being held for the first time to celebrate the "2023 World Heritage City Gochang Visit Year," and a variety of attractions have been prepared.

On the first day of the event, the 31st, the festival will begin with a children's concert featuring bright children like spring, followed by a unique costume cherry blossom path walk, a media book performance, a Bicycle Scenery concert, and other pre-event performances, as well as a community harmony gathering.
Visitors to the festival site are expected to stay until late at night, and at night, unlike during the day, they can enjoy the exotic beauty of cherry blossoms combined with splendid landscape lighting.
On the 1st of next month, the Community Harmony Festival, where residents can showcase their talents, and an opening ceremony celebration concert with famous singers (10cm, Shin Yu, Kim Taeyeon, etc.) will be held.
On the last day, following the Youth Festival for future dream trees, the festival will conclude with a cherry blossom music concert.
County Governor Shim Deokseop said, "Since this is the first time the Gochang Cherry Blossom Festival is being held, we have prepared a variety of unique content such as sights and entertainment to meet the high expectations of tourists."
He added, "We will continue to approach residents with various cultural policies to provide cultural and artistic activities that permeate their daily lives."
