Operation of 'SNS Gunmin Participation Group' Open to All Residents
From April, Cheongsong-gun in Gyeongbuk will operate the ‘Cheongsong-gun SNS Citizen Participation Group,’ allowing any citizen to participate as an official SNS poster for the county.
The ‘Cheongsong-gun SNS Citizen Participation Group’ was introduced for the first time this year to convey vivid stories from local residents and enhance empathy with citizens by selecting manuscripts directly submitted by citizens as official SNS posts of the county.
Citizens who wish to participate in the county’s official SNS can write and submit manuscripts related to county administration, and Cheongsong-gun will comprehensively consider content, quality, and timeliness to select manuscripts to be posted on the county’s official SNS.
However, only content related to county administration promotion such as policies, tourism, festivals, and living information will be accepted, and manuscripts unrelated to county administration promotion, such as general tourist spots, cafes, and restaurants, will be excluded.
No separate manuscript fee will be paid for selected manuscripts, but excellent participants will be given additional points when applying for the next ‘Cheongsong-gun SNS Promotion Group Onttong Cheongsong.’
Governor Yoon Kyung-hee said, “The ‘Cheongsong-gun SNS Citizen Participation Group,’ which will convey residents’ vivid stories and expand mutual empathy, will become a platform for communicative administration,” and added, “Since it was created reflecting the high interest of Cheongsong citizens in SNS, we ask for active participation.”
