Dong-A Socio Group Donates Earthquake Relief Funds for Turkey and Syria

Received Appreciation Plaque for Disaster and Emergency Donation Activities

Dong-A Socio Holdings announced on the 31st that it has delivered relief funds to T?rkiye and Syria, which suffered earthquake damage, and received a plaque of appreciation for its donation activities from the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association.

At the handover ceremony held on the 30th at the headquarters in Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, officials including Jeong Jae-hoon, Vice President of Dong-A Socio Holdings, and Bae Cheon-jik, Head of the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association, attended.

The relief funds raised by Dong-A Socio Holdings, Dong-A ST, and Dong-A Pharmaceutical, subsidiaries of Dong-A Socio Holdings, will be delivered to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association. The association plans to use the funds for rebuilding local communities, including the construction of temporary housing for earthquake victims in T?rkiye and Syria.

Dong-A Socio Holdings is actively engaged in support activities in collaboration with the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association during disasters and calamities, taking the lead in fulfilling social responsibility. In March last year, it raised and donated funds to the National Disaster Relief Association for wildfire victims in the Gyeongbuk and Gangwon regions, and in September, it delivered Bacchus to flood victims in Gyeongbuk.

A representative of Dong-A Socio Holdings said, "We hope that the earthquake victims in T?rkiye and Syria will heal their pain and regain their daily lives as soon as possible," adding, "We will strive to be a Dong-A Socio Holdings that extends warmth and love not only to neighbors in need within Korea but also around the world."
