Orga Whole Foods, a subsidiary of Pulmuone, announced on the 31st the launch of a premium instant rice product called ‘Organic Golden Rice,’ made from organically cultivated Golden Queen No. 3, an excellent domestic rice variety.
Organic Golden Rice is an instant rice product made from high-quality Golden Queen No. 3 rice grown organically. It uses only the single variety Golden Queen No. 3, carefully cultivated organically in the tidal flats of Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do. Only top-grade rice with a variety purity of over 94% was carefully selected, and after pressure sterilization, it was packaged in a sterile room to minimize the possibility of spoilage.
The domestic premium rice variety Golden Queen No. 3 is known for its large grains and high transparency, offering excellent taste and aroma. Rice cooked with Golden Queen No. 3 is well known for its low amylose content, resulting in high glossiness and stickiness, and outstanding flavor. It is also characterized by a savory rice scent and a rich popcorn aroma. Golden Queen No. 3 was recognized for these qualities and received the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Award at the 16th Korea Excellent Variety Awards in 2020.
This new product is available at Orga’s nationwide directly operated stores, shop-in-shop stores, franchise stores Bio Orga, and Orga’s online shopping mall.
