Protein Drop is a vegan product certified by the European vegan certification body V-Label, using 100% plant-derived ingredients. Instead of thick and heavy animal-based protein, it utilizes hydrolyzed pea protein, a plant-based ingredient, to create a light and clean texture like water. In particular, to enable rapid absorption in the body, the hydrolysis process breaks down the typical pea protein molecules (30,000 Daltons) into small molecules of 610 Dalton low-molecular peptides.
Each bottle (500ml) of Protein Drop contains 10g of protein and plant-based collagen extracted from hibiscus, with 0% sugar content, allowing for a healthy and guilt-free enjoyment. It features a refreshing blood orange flavor, making it ideal not only for quenching thirst after exercise but also as a complement to meals. As part of its ESG management, Samyang Foods has disclosed the carbon emissions generated during the production process of Protein Drop. The carbon dioxide emitted to produce 1kg of Protein Drop is 0.8kg. It is available for purchase at the Samyang Foods brand store online, with plans to expand sales channels in the future.
A representative from Samyang Foods stated, “In line with the steadily growing interest in health, we have introduced a plant-based protein drink. Starting with Protein Drop, we plan to strengthen the position of the newly launched plant-based health brand Jack & Pulse.”
