T'way Air Expands Routes at Cheongju Airport... "Launching Flights to Bangkok and Osaka"

Special Discount Airfare Sale for New Bangkok and Osaka Routes

T'way Air announced on the 31st that it will launch new routes from Cheongju to Bangkok starting April 27 and from Cheongju to Osaka starting June 8. Following the launch of the Cheongju-Da Nang route in January, which reopened the skies of Cheongju Airport that had been closed during the pandemic, T'way Air is expanding its routes to provide convenient travel for residents in nearby areas and to revitalize the airport.

T'way Air will begin operating the new Cheongju-Bangkok (Don Mueang) route from April 27, with flights four times a week (Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday). The Cheongju-Bangkok route departs Cheongju Airport at 7:25 PM and arrives at Bangkok Don Mueang Airport at 11:00 PM. The Bangkok route is planned to be increased in frequency later. Additionally, starting June 8, the Cheongju-Osaka route will operate daily. The flight departs Cheongju Airport at 10:00 AM and arrives at Osaka Kansai Airport at 11:40 AM, offering a convenient schedule.

The promotion celebrating the new route launch will run from 2 PM on the same day until April 13 for two weeks on T'way Air’s website, mobile app, and web. The special fares for the new routes start from 66,600 KRW for a one-way total fare including fuel surcharge and airport fees on the Cheongju-Osaka route, and from 116,100 KRW on the Cheongju-Bangkok route. The travel period is from the launch date of each route until October 28.

Furthermore, entering the discount code ‘Cheongju’ when searching for tickets will apply an immediate 10% discount on selected fares. During the promotion period, the Japanese website will also offer special fares and discount code events for passengers departing from Japan on the Osaka-Cheongju route. Information about the new destination, Cheongju, will be provided to help attract overseas visitors.
