Fashion Brands Collaborate with Resell Platforms for Experiential Marketing
LG Electronics will launch the next-generation premium shoe care solutions, 'LG Styler Shoe Case·Shoe Care,' on the 31st.
The LG Styler Shoe Case·Shoe Care was first unveiled at IFA last year. The LG Styler Shoe Case is a new concept shoe storage display case that stores shoes at optimal humidity and allows them to be appreciated like works of art. Inside, soft lighting turns on and the pedestal rotates 360 degrees.
The LG Styler Shoe Care is a premium shoe care device that provides customized care not only for sneakers and dress shoes but also for functional shoes such as golf shoes and soccer shoes, as well as frequently worn daily shoes. This product is equipped with innovative technologies optimized for shoe care, including LG Styler's patented TrueSteam technology and the ZeoDry filter that removes fine moisture and odors.
LG Electronics applied recycled plastic to the exterior of the new products, except for the transparent window. The new products will be released in four Objet Collection colors: Essence White, Essence Graphite, Cream Rose, and Cream Yellow. The prices are set at 390,000 KRW for the Shoe Case and 1,490,000 KRW for the Shoe Care, based on the shipment price.
The LG Styler Shoe Case·Shoe Care are part of the LG UP Appliances lineup, allowing customers to add new features through upgrades via the 'UP Appliances Center' in the LG ThinQ app even after purchase. LG Electronics plans to continuously provide new functions, such as adding lighting colors to the Shoe Case and upgrading new customized courses for the Shoe Care.
LG Electronics will also introduce various marketing activities for customers to experience the new products. Collaborating with 'Matin Kim,' a leading domestic fashion brand highly regarded among the MZ generation, LG will operate an experiential exhibition space in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. From April 3 to 16, anyone visiting Matin Kim’s showroom 'Houseby' can experience the 'Shoe Collector’s Lifestyle' using the LG Styler Shoe Case·Shoe Care. Additionally, a collaboration experiential space will be created with 'KREAM,' a well-known resale platform. At the KREAM showroom in Lotte World Mall, Jamsil, from April 3 to May 7, for 35 days, popular limited-edition shoes will be showcased using the LG Styler Shoe Case·Shoe Care.

Various experiential marketing activities will also be conducted online and on mobile, including NFT shoes. LG ThinQ app will launch the 'Shoelife' service, allowing users to store and appreciate both physical shoes and NFT (Non-Fungible Token) shoes from 'Monshukle (Monster Shoe Club)' together. An event giving away NFT shoes will be held through the gaming community 'Discord' until June. Within the metaverse platform 'Zepeto,' the 'Zepeto Monshukle Collaboration Shop' will operate, enabling users to customize their avatars with Monshukle shoes and items.
