Student Council Hosts Events and Celebration Performances
The spring has arrived on campus, with the lyrics of ‘Cherry Blossom Ending’ fluttering in the air.
The Dong-Eui University Student Council (President Park Taewon) resumed the spring cherry blossom festival, which had ‘ended’ in April 2019, after four years. Although the cherry blossoms fluttered, the songs and spring outings stopped due to COVID-19’s interference for three years starting in 2020.
On the 30th and 31st, Dong-Eui University is holding the festival for two days around Hyeanji Pond and the outdoor music hall on campus, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom.
The spring festival and launch event are organized with food trucks, photo zones, events, club congratulatory performances, and invited singer performances.
Students participating in the festival gathered in small groups during their ‘gonggang’ (free periods). Under the cherry trees in full bloom, they enjoyed the romance of the campus along with the long-awaited spring festival.
Dong-Eui University boasts such beautiful spring scenery that it was selected as one of the top 10 most beautiful campuses nationwide by the Korea University Newspaper.
