Two US B-52H Bombers Deployed to East Sea... Two Days After North Korea's Nuclear Warhead Reveal

Two B-52H long-range strategic bombers of the U.S. Air Force were deployed over the East Sea just two days after North Korea revealed its tactical nuclear warheads.

According to the aircraft tracking service 'Aircraft Spots' on the 30th, two B-52H Stratofortress bombers from the U.S. Boxdale Air Force Base were detected flying over the East Sea alongside Japan Air Self-Defense Force fighter jets in the afternoon.

The B-52H is one of the U.S. strategic assets capable of carrying nuclear weapons, and it also conducted joint air exercises with the Republic of Korea Air Force over the Korean Peninsula on the 6th. Aircraft Spots explained that these B-52Hs appeared over the East Sea while deploying to Andersen Air Force Base in Guam for a Bomber Task Force (BTF) mission.

The simultaneous deployment of two B-52Hs over the East Sea is interpreted as a warning against North Korea's recent nuclear threats. On the 28th, North Korea released photos presumed to show tactical nuclear warheads mounted on short-range ballistic missiles and cruise missiles.
