Gyeongbuk Development Corporation Sells 27 Plots of 90-Pyeong Detached House Land

Construction Cost 1.3 Million KRW per Pyeong · 345 Million KRW for 35 Pyeong

Gyeongbuk Provincial Government New Town … Near Hominji Lake Park

Gyeongbuk Development Corporation held a groundbreaking ceremony for a pilot housing project at 11 a.m. on the 30th to early supply a differentiated high-quality detached housing residential complex in the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government New Town, and plans to sell residential land in the second half of this year.


The land to be sold by Gyeongbuk Development Corporation is located near the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government Office, adjacent to Hominji Lake Park, which spans 100,000 pyeong to the east, and is situated at the entrance of the new town access road to the north, where there is an ecological stream and a millennium forest.

The land for sale consists of 109 detached housing lots, with an average area of about 90 pyeong per lot, and the land price is approximately 1.3 to 1.4 million KRW per pyeong.


A representative from Gyeongbuk Development Corporation stated, “Along with the land sale, housing construction will be entrusted to Deojon Housing for integrated construction. The houses will be two-story buildings, with a construction area of about 35 pyeong, and the construction cost is expected to be around 345 million KRW.


The construction contract must be concluded simultaneously with the land sale. The houses can be completed within five months after groundbreaking.”


Gyeongbuk Development Corporation selected Deojon Housing as the preferred negotiator for construction through a public recruitment of private businesses last September.


Deojon Housing, selected as the private business operator, has led the industry with high-quality design and professional construction in the detached housing sector for 20 years, holding the top position in detached housing construction with over 2,200 housing units built.


Gyeongbuk Development Corporation plans to complete three pilot houses around August and proceed with land sales and construction contracts from August to October.


Gyeongbuk Development Corporation stated, “We plan to sell 27 out of the total 109 lots in the second half of this year, and then divide the remaining lots into three to four phases for sale next year.”


Lee Jae-hyeok, president of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation, said, “As this is the first private cooperation project utilizing detached housing land by a local public enterprise, we will actively strive to successfully promote the project, create a model case, and contribute to the revitalization of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Government New Town.”
