Kumho Construction to Build Publicly Supported Private Rental Housing Worth 230 Billion Won

Kumho Construction announced on the 30th that it has been selected as the preferred negotiation partner for the 'Busan Gijang A1 Block Publicly Supported Private Rental Housing' project commissioned by the Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH).

Kumho Construction formed a consortium with Daehan Land Trust and rental and residential service management company GH Partners and was selected as the preferred negotiation partner.

This project is a publicly supported private rental housing construction project with a budget of 425.1 billion KRW. Kumho Construction is the only construction company in the consortium and will solely undertake the construction work worth 232.7 billion KRW.

The Busan Gijang A1 Block Publicly Supported Private Rental Housing is located in Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, Busan, with a total floor area of 141,154㎡ and consists of 886 units of a single exclusive area size of 84㎡. The brand to be used is Kumho Construction's 'Eoullim'.

Forty percent (354 units) of the total supply will be provided as youth housing. Construction is scheduled to begin in June next year, with occupancy expected in April 2027.
