On the 30th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that they have booked and are investigating a woman in her 20s, identified as A, on charges of violating the Narcotics Control Act.

A is suspected of requesting a proxy prescription for Zolpidem through the errand app around 12 PM on the 27th. It is reported that A asked for Zolpidem to be prescribed at a hospital located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and requested delivery to a residential area in Yeoksam-dong. Zolpidem is a psychotropic drug used for patients with insomnia. Under the Narcotics Control Act, requesting a proxy prescription for psychotropic drugs is illegal.

The delivery person who received the request suspected the drug to be narcotics and reported it to the police, leading to A’s arrest at the meeting location. A police official stated, "We plan to investigate the specific circumstances of the drug use and purchase," and added, "The investigation will also be expanded to include the hospital where the prescription was requested."
