27,153 Applicants for 1,798 Household Recruitment

The first pre-application results for the Yoon Seok-yeol administration's public sale housing project 'New:Home' showed an average competition rate of 15.1 to 1.

Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 30th that a total of 27,153 people applied for 1,798 units in three New:Home districts, including Goyang Changneung, during the pre-application period from the 6th to the 17th of last month, recording an average competition rate of 15.1 to 1.

By type, the Nanum type saw 24,845 applicants for 1,426 units, resulting in a competition rate of 17.4 to 1. For the youth special supply priority allocation, winners were selected by lottery at a perfect score of 9 points in both Goyang Changneung and Yangjeong Station area districts, while remaining allocations were decided by lottery at a perfect score of 12 points.

For the newlywed special supply priority allocation, winners were selected by lottery at 9 points (perfect score) in Goyang Changneung and between 8 to 9 points in Yangjeong Station area. For remaining allocations, lotteries were held at scores ranging from 7 to 11 points in Goyang Changneung and 6 to 10 points in Yangjeong Station area.

The general type recruited 372 units with 3,208 applicants, showing a competition rate of 6.2 to 1. For the multi-child special supply, the highest score winner in Namyangju Jinjeop 2 was recorded at 80 points. For the newlywed special supply, the highest score was 11 points, and remaining allocations for the 59-type units were decided by lottery in the first priority group, while 55-type units were decided by lottery in the second priority group. For the ‘No Parent Special Supply,’ the highest subscription savings deposit was 20 million KRW.

Among the general supply, the winning threshold for subscription savings total amount for priority supply candidates averaged around 14.93 million KRW. The highest subscription savings deposits were recorded as ▲Goyang Changneung 25.2 million KRW ▲Yangjeong Station area 23.4 million KRW ▲Namyangju Jinjeop 2 20.8 million KRW, respectively.
