Event Held Annually for Pre-Registrants
Participation Fee $88 · Vegetarian Course · No Alcohol Allowed
Participants Range from Early 20s to Women in Their 50s

As COVID-19 restrictions ease and various social gatherings surge, a so-called 'private nude restaurant' event in New York, USA, where only pre-registered participants can attend, has become a hot topic.

On the 28th (local time), The New York Times (NYT) introduced a unique event called 'The Fude Experience,' where attendees enter completely naked and enjoy a meal. Hosted by model and performance artist Charlie and Max, the event is held under the theme of "a free space to celebrate our pure selves."

All events require prior registration through the official website. The participation fee is $88. To join, participants must sign a consent form. The form includes questions about dietary restrictions due to allergies or religious reasons, as well as inquiries about any involvement in "any incidents considered inappropriate or rude during nude or semi-nude events."

Max, the organizer, explained to NYT, "This event is not just for women," but added, "Men need a recommendation from a previous participant to join."

According to NYT, the dinner gathering held in New York around March included several women ranging from their early 20s to late 50s. The media reported, "All 28 participants were strangers to each other," and "Their motivations varied, including those wanting to reconnect with their bodies, those hoping to overcome shyness by meeting new people, and those seeking confidence in social life."

The theme of the gathering was "Embracing Inner Rhythm." Participants spent an hour meditating, doing gymnastics, and practicing breathing exercises, then sat around a table decorated with dried flowers and silk tablecloths to talk about their bodies.

At the dinner gathering held in New York last March, guests stripped off all their clothes at the door upon arrival. There was only a clothes rack on one wall, with no separate changing room.

The menu included carrot and ginger soup, bell peppers stuffed with quinoa, and cacao raspberry avocado mousse. There was also an incident during the event. Someone shouted, "He's a man," prompting the organizers to chase away a passerby who was watching from outside and reinstall a fallen window screen.

Participants left reviews such as, "It was a life-changing dinner," and "At first, it was unfamiliar and awkward, but soon I was able to have deep conversations even with people I met for the first time."
