Samsung Electronics Launches Affordable Smartphone 'Galaxy A34' Priced Around 400,000 Won

Samsung Electronics will release its new budget smartphone, the 'Galaxy A34', on the 31st.

According to Samsung Electronics on the 30th, the newly launched 'Galaxy A34 5G' features a large 6.6-inch (166.5mm) Super AMOLED display and supports a 120Hz refresh rate.

The rear camera setup includes three cameras: a 48-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 5-megapixel macro camera. The front camera is 13 megapixels.

Notably, the rear camera is equipped with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and enhanced VDIS (Video Digital Image Stabilization) features, enabling clearer photos and videos even in shaky or fast-moving situations.

The photo editing capabilities have also been improved. The 'AI Eraser' feature allows users to easily remove unwanted subjects, shadows, and light reflections from photos.

The 'Photo Remaster' function, which automatically enhances low-resolution or old photos, has been expanded to support not only existing image files but also GIF files.

The 'Galaxy A34 5G' supports wired charging up to 25W and is equipped with a large 5000mAh battery. It comes with 128GB of storage and supports microSD expansion up to 1TB. It also features IP67-rated water and dust resistance.

Additionally, this device supports Samsung Pay. It enables easy online and offline payments based on NFC (Near Field Communication) and MST (Magnetic Secure Transmission) technologies. It also includes various functions such as a digital home key, mobile driver's license, movie tickets, and membership cards.

The 'Galaxy A34 5G' will be available in four colors: Awesome Silver, Awesome Graphite, Awesome Violet, and Awesome Lime.

It will be released through all three major domestic carriers and is also available as an unlocked model. The price is 499,400 KRW.
