Ulsan Ulju-gun Volunteer Center conducted environmental awareness education and volunteer training titled 'Starting Today Together, Ulju Volunteer Courage Man' for volunteers in two sessions on the 22nd and 29th.

Uljugun Volunteer Center conducted environmental awareness and literacy education for activities to reduce the use of disposable products.

This training was organized to promote volunteer activities aimed at reducing the use of disposable products and encouraging resource circulation.

Volunteers conducted pilot activities at Eonyang Alps Market over the past year, and this year, the scope will expand to Namchang Onggijonggi Market in Ulju-gun.

They plan to carry out activities to reduce disposable product use and encourage resource circulation four times a month.

The main contents include ▲campaigns to reduce disposable products ▲viewing public service advertisements and distributing eco-friendly household items ▲making and distributing reusable fabric bags ▲sharing surplus shopping bags within households.

Son Deok-hyun, director of the Ulju-gun Volunteer Center, said, “To reduce disposable product use, it is important to practice in daily life,” adding, “We will take the lead in practicing so that a culture of reducing disposable product use can take root.”
