Inviting 1,300 Partner Company Employees
On the 29th, Lotte held the 'Lotte Happiness Sharing Companion Concert,' a music event inviting partner company (collaborator) employees, at the Lotte Concert Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, the company announced on the 30th. The group explained that it utilized its cultural facilities to create a space for communication and exchange to express gratitude for the hard work of partner company employees.

Thirteen affiliates, including Lotte Department Store and Lotte Chemical, invited 1,300 employees from 212 partner companies responsible for facility safety management and operations. Key executives such as Lee Dong-woo, CEO of Lotte Holdings, Kim Kyo-hyun, General CEO of Lotte Chemical Group, Lee Young-gu, General CEO of Lotte Food Group, and other affiliate representatives attended the event. Affiliate representatives and executives greeted partner company employees at the entrance of the venue and personally expressed their thanks.
The performance, organized into two parts totaling 80 minutes, was led by conductor Kim Kwang-hyun. The Korea Coop Orchestra performed, featuring baritone Kim Dong-kyu, musical actress Cha Ji-yeon, and traditional singer Go Young-yeol. The stage was diversified with pieces ranging from classical music to popular songs, and announcer Hwang Soo-kyung hosted the event.
Events for partner company employees were also prepared. At the entrance of the Lotte Concert Hall, a 'Thanks to Photo Zone' and a 'Welcome Catering Zone' were set up to welcome partner company employees. After the concert, attendees were given souvenirs composed of products from Lotte affiliates.
Kim Kyung-sook, CEO of partner company Hyucop, who attended the concert, said, "It was disappointing that activities with employees decreased due to COVID-19, but this event allowed us to create good memories. It was great to have an opportunity to communicate with Lotte executives, and I hope such events continue in the future."
Lotte plans to continue expanding programs that communicate with partner companies through cultural performances utilizing infrastructure such as the Lotte Concert Hall and Lotte Museum.
