A luxury imported car owner who was denied entry to an apartment parking lot due to an unregistered vehicle blocked the parking entrance for 8 hours and then disappeared, sparking public outrage online.
On the 30th, an online community, BobaeDream, featured a post titled “A parking villain has appeared in our apartment too! How should we respond?” which has become a hot topic.

The photo attached by Mr. A shows a black Rolls-Royce blocking the apartment entrance parking barrier arm. According to Mr. A, the Rolls-Royce remained there until 7 a.m., even after the police arrived, and was only moved to another location after 10 a.m.
Netizens who read the story reacted with comments such as, "What a waste of a car. The person's character is worse than the car," "Maybe they treat it roughly because it’s not their own car," "The character is worse than the car. Such a waste," and "Could it be that they were caught driving unregistered to avoid parking fees?"
One netizen advised, "There are precedents and punishments, so if the apartment residents and management are willing, it’s not difficult to impose penalties." Mr. A responded, "I will suggest to the apartment residents’ representative meeting not to just let it go after the car is removed."

Meanwhile, in reality, blocking an apartment entrance like this can be punished under charges such as obstruction of general traffic and obstruction of business. In December 2020, the Uijeongbu District Court fined a resident 1.5 million won for blocking the parking lot entrance for about 12 hours in retaliation after a security guard placed a parking violation sticker in an apartment in Yangju City.
In the same month, the Seoul Central District Court fined Mr. B 7 million won and his junior Mr. C 5 million won for instructing and blocking the parking lot entrance of an apartment in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, where Mr. B’s girlfriend lived, charging them with instigation of obstruction of business and obstruction of business after they blocked the entrance for about two hours.
