According to the "2023 Regular Asset Changes of Public Officials" released on the 30th, Chief Justice Yoo reported assets including an apartment in Seocho-gu, Seoul worth about 950 million KRW and deposits worth approximately 1.81 billion KRW. Notably, his assets increased by about 156 million KRW this year due to salary savings and other factors, drawing attention.
Among the justices, Justice Lee Mi-sun reported the highest assets, totaling about 6.51 billion KRW, an increase of about 370 million KRW. This included an apartment and land in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and deposits worth approximately 4.27 billion KRW.
Justices Lee Young-jin (about 4.9 billion KRW), Lee Seok-tae (about 4.35 billion KRW), and Lee Jong-seok (about 4.06 billion KRW) followed with the next highest assets. Justice Lee Young-jin saw the largest asset increase of about 1.32 billion KRW due to salary savings and inheritance from a spouse.
