On the 29th, the organization announced that it will participate in the 'Seatrade Cruise Global' in the United States, the world's largest cruise expo. The expo, which began on the 27th (local time) and continues until the 30th, features over 80 global cruise lines, more than 500 cruise-related organizations, and travel industry participants from around the world.

The organization is actively promoting the vision of Korean cruise tourism and the attractions of the ports of call in six domestic cities?Busan, Incheon, Sokcho, Yeosu, Jeju, and Seosan?together with local governments, regional tourism organizations, and port authorities.

The theme of the Korea promotional booth is 'Cruise Korea,' highlighting the distinctive tourism content, facilities and infrastructure, and geographical advantages of the domestic ports of call. On the 29th, the organization will participate as a key panelist in a conference themed 'Asia's New Market,' introducing the appeal of Korean cruise tourism.

Additionally, a close networking event called 'Cruise Korean Night' will be held between major cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean and the Korean delegation.

The organization plans to continue the achievements made at last year's Seatrade expo this year as well. A notable success from last year was the focused promotion targeting executives of the luxury cruise line Silver Sea, which led to Silver Sea including five major Korean ports of call this year.

Kim Dong-il, head of the Hallyu Content Office at the Korea Tourism Organization, stated, "This year, by including Seosan as a new port of call, we will intensively promote the appeal of the six major ports of call to key cruise lines and specialized travel agencies participating in the expo, and expand the development of Korea travel products tailored to the characteristics of cruise lines and tourists by region."
