Masan, Haman, Uiryeong Crime Victim Centers Award Commendations to Meritorious Persons

Held Together with Changwon District Prosecutors' Office Masan Branch

The Changwon District Prosecutors' Office Masan Branch and the Masan, Haman, and Uiryeong Crime Victim Support Centers held the 2023 regular general meeting and an award ceremony for those who contributed to the protection and support of crime victims in the branch's large conference room.


The event held on the 28th was attended by Branch Chief Park Yong-ho, Chief Prosecutor Kim Eun-ha of the Criminal Division 1, Chief Prosecutor Kim Sang-jun of the Criminal Division 2, Office Manager Jeong Young-ho, Investigation Manager Moon Myung-ryong, and Crime Victim Support Center Chairman Yoon Tae-seok, among 65 participants.

Chairman Yoon said, “I deeply appreciate the efforts of the awardees who have directly and indirectly supported the treatment, counseling, and financial assistance for victims and their families affected by crime, helping them recover from the damage and return to normal social activities.” He added, “Let us all renew our determination to enhance the rights of crime victims and their recovery by providing systematic, tailored support and discovering victims, and do our best to promote the welfare of crime victims.”


Branch Chief Park stated, “The Crime Victim Support Center plays a definite role in comforting the pain of victims on behalf of the prosecution and the state, providing help and care to prevent further harm.” He urged, “Please continue to contribute unwaveringly to the nation, the prosecution, and the development of the Masan area.”


The awardees pledged, “Our center will continue to do its best to help victims who have suffered mental, physical, and economic damages caused by others' criminal acts, giving them courage and hope to recover, and work toward creating a society free of crime.”
