Gyeongnam Hamyang-gun is conducting a comprehensive inspection of the pilot complex for wild ginseng production.
In particular, emphasizing that most of the work is carried out on slopes, strict adherence to various safety rules was ordered to ensure that not a single accident occurs through thorough safety management.
After the training, they toured the pilot cultivation complex (22 hectares) and directly inspected the management status and growth conditions of 21 zones that have been planted and managed annually since 2014.
During the inspection, it was confirmed that some improvements were needed, such as boundary markings for each zone, installation of signboards, and replacement of the monorail engine, with plans to complete the improvements by the end of March.
A county official stated, “Starting in April, we will conduct a survival rate survey of the cultivation complex to establish the survival status by year and future management plans. By managing the seed production complex systematically and transparently, we will do our best to promote the reputation of Hamyang Sansangsam both domestically and internationally.”
