IFC Mall announced on the 28th that it has opened 'Blooming City,' where visitors can enjoy a vibrant array of flowers to welcome spring.
The newly unveiled Blooming City at IFC Mall is a city-themed concept surrounded by fully bloomed, colorful flowers following the COVID-19 pandemic. It symbolizes the revival of daily life, joy, and hope that had been lost for a long time, just like new flowers blooming.
Located in the South Atrium on the L3 floor, Blooming City is decorated with hydrangeas, peonies, white and pale purple baby's breath, among others. To create a 'blooming' effect of flowers blossoming, various color changes were used to evoke a dreamy atmosphere. To represent a structured city, mirrors were installed at multiple angles, adding a mirror effect that creates a surreal and fantastic spring ambiance where the flower fields within the city appear to expand infinitely.
To celebrate the installation of Blooming City, IFC Mall will hold a certification photo event on its official Instagram until the 16th of next month. Participants who upload photos taken in front of IFC Mall's Blooming City on Instagram with the required hashtags will be entered into a draw to win prizes. Various events will also be held, including a short-form contest where visitors record and share 20-second videos, an Air Cube event, and coupon book giveaways.
