18-Hole Course Established in New Jersey, USA
TGR Design Participates
Tiger Woods (USA) will design a golf course with Major League Baseball's star hitter Mike Trout (LA Angels).
On the 28th, PGA Tour.com reported, "Trout will be in charge of the course design for the golf club being built in southern New Jersey, USA, through TGR Design, a golf course design company operated by Woods."
The golf course will be an 18-hole facility located in Vineland, New Jersey, where Trout was born. It will include a practice range, short game course, clubhouse, wedding chapel, and other facilities. Construction will begin this year, with an opening planned for 2025.
Trout said, "Building a golf course here feels like a dream come true," and emphasized, "Having Woods in charge of the course design is an incredible thing." Woods also responded, "I have always enjoyed watching Mike's games at the baseball stadium," adding, "I couldn't miss the opportunity to work together."
Trout debuted in Major League Baseball with the LA Angels in 2011 and has been named American League Most Valuable Player (MVP) three times, an All-Star ten times, and All-Star MVP twice.
