4 Seasons, 20 Tournaments... 136 Participants
The 2023 season KPGA Srixon Tour, organized by the Korea Professional Golfers' Association (KPGA), will open on the 28th.
According to KPGA on the 28th, the opening event, the 1st KPGA Srixon Tour tournament, will be held over two days from the 28th to the 29th at the Sol Course of Solago CC in Taean, Chungnam. The Sol Course has been the venue for the Srixon Tour opening event for three consecutive years since 2021.
A total of 136 players will participate in this tournament. The list of participants includes Ko Seok-wan, the 2018 NS Home Shopping Gunsan CC Jeonbuk Open champion; Park Hyung-wook, who won two titles last year on the KPGA Srixon Tour; national representatives Jang Yoo-bin and Cho Woo-young; as well as Heo Sung-hoon, who recorded the 'dream score of 58'.

This year, the KPGA Srixon Tour will be held over 4 seasons and 20 tournaments. Each season consists of 5 tournaments, and the total prize money for the 20 tournaments is 1.7 billion KRW. The season will take place at four golf courses including Solago CC, Gunsan CC, Gimcheon Podo CC, and South Links Yeongam.
From the 1st to the 9th tournaments and from the 11th to the 19th tournaments, the format will be a 2-round, 36-hole stroke play, with a total prize money of 80 million KRW (16 million KRW for the winner) each. The 10th and 20th tournaments will be held in a 3-round, 54-hole stroke play format, with total prize money of 130 million KRW (26 million KRW for the winner). After all 20 tournaments are completed, the top 10 players in Srixon points awarded according to each tournament's ranking will be granted entry rights to the 2024 KPGA Korean Tour.
