CJ Foodville announced on the 28th that the Italian bistro The Place will launch a spring season menu that strengthens Italian authenticity to welcome the spring.
The seasonal menu will be released starting from the 30th and is themed "Festa di Primavera," which means "Spring Festival" in Italian. It utilizes ingredients widely used in Italian cuisine such as arugula, prosciutto, and gremolata dressing. Reflecting the Italian dining culture where wine is enjoyed daily, the wine lineup has been expanded and the menu is composed to pair well with wine.
The diverse menu includes the "Arugula Prosciutto Pizza," topped with fresh arugula and prosciutto with tomato sauce, the "Burrata Caprese," served with burrata cheese, tomato, arugula, and Italian gremolata dressing, and the "Baby Scallop Pasta," topped with herbs like arugula, fresh edible flower petals, and mini scallops.
They also offer bistro dishes that pair well with wine for light enjoyment. The "Prosciutto & Frutta Plate" includes prosciutto, green grapes, and mascarpone cheese; the "Cheese & Mushroom Plate" features various cheeses such as Grana Padano, Gorgonzola, and Ricotta served with roasted mushrooms and rye bread; and the "Anchovy & Olive Plate" allows you to enjoy white anchovies and green olives together. These menus are available at The Place locations in Seoul Square, Gwanghwamun SFC, Yeouido IFC, Hongdae L7, Yeongdeungpo Times Square, and COEX.
