"Feels Like Staying at a Resort Every Day" Suncheon’s First Landscape-Specialized Apartment 'Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTIGE'

"Feels Like Staying at a Resort Every Day" Suncheon’s First Landscape-Specialized Apartment 'Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTIGE' [Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTG Main Entrance]

"The entrance and exterior are splendid, but the landscaping is especially beautiful, making you feel as if you are staying in a forest resort every day. Each season, different flowers and trees bloom, creating a new atmosphere, and the best part is that you can enjoy a picnic-like experience anytime without having to take a separate outing," said Resident A of Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTG.

The landscaping of Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTG, which began occupancy earlier this month, is becoming a hot topic within the local community. It is praised for bringing the beautiful scenery of Suncheon Samsan (三山), located behind the complex, directly into the site, creating a landscape reminiscent of a luxurious forest resort.

Located in Yongdang-dong, Suncheon-si, Jeollanam-do, Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTG consists of 14 buildings ranging from 2 basement floors to 18 above-ground floors, totaling 1,252 households. Constructed by Hanyang Co., Ltd., it is the first 'Sujain' brand apartment introduced in Suncheon, with particular emphasis on landscaping. For the first time among Suncheon apartments, the landscaping was designed and constructed by Samsung C&T Resort Division, which operates Everland and Caribbean Bay.

Occupancy started on March 6, and within two weeks, the occupancy rate (based on the ratio of units occupied or fully paid) exceeded 50%, indicating smooth progress. This suggests that residents highly value the complex, with specialized landscaping that enhances quality of life at its core.

The Atmosphere of Suncheon Samsan (三山) Infused Within the Complex

Upon entering the complex, a long pedestrian path winding around Samsan immediately catches the eye. Along this path, various gardens and themed spaces are located, and cherry blossom trees are planted on both sides, evoking the image of a representative cherry blossom spot in Suncheon where nature and modern architecture harmonize.

In line with the landscaping concept of 'Samsan Scenery (三山風景),' the complex offers views of the forest landscape of Samsan Park from various spots, adding to its charm. A Hanyang official explained, "We have modernly reinterpreted the nature, history, and cultural environment of Suncheon, known as the land of Samsan Isu (三山二水), and incorporated it into the landscaping spaces."

The highlight of Suncheon Hanyang Sujain DSTG’s landscaping is the Seokgasan rock garden and the scenic pond located at the center of the complex. The Seokgasan, planted with pine trees, evokes the atmosphere of an oriental painting, while the scenic pond harmonizes with sculptural trees such as weeping willows, hackberries, and large oak trees, reminiscent of the beautiful scenery of Suncheon Bay. Around the pond, a tea house and community deck are installed, expected to serve as healing spaces for residents.

Moving a bit further up, you reach the Garden of Light. In summer, lotus flowers bloom in the Lotus Pond at the center, harmonizing with the surrounding crape myrtle trees to create a picturesque scene. Additionally, there are the 'Rock Texture Garden,' reinterpreting rocky mountain landscapes; the eco-friendly 'Raindrop Garden'; the 'Cool Welcome Forest'; and the 'Forest of Contemplation,' where visitors can enjoy diverse tree species and shade.

Everland? Caribbean Bay?... Enjoy Theme Parks Within the Complex

Since the landscaping was designed by Samsung C&T Resort Division, which operates Everland and Caribbean Bay, the children's play areas are composed with special themes not previously seen in Suncheon. The 'Panda Forest Playground' located in the center of the complex is themed after Everland's Panda World, featuring specialized bamboo structures and bamboo groves to add fun elements. The water playground 'Thunder Falls' on the west side includes a Thunder Falls Tower with water buckets, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of Caribbean Bay.

The 'Imagination Story Garden,' a themed garden for children, also draws attention. The maze garden, planted with evergreen holly in a circular shape, is perfect for fostering children's imagination. Alongside it, wooden playhouses and cylindrical tunnels stimulate curiosity, promising enjoyment for kids. Other popular spaces for children include the 'Moon and Star Playground' for adventurous play and the 'Honeybee Playground' designed for toddlers.

Resident B, who recently moved in, said, "I had heard a lot about the good landscaping before moving in, but after actually coming here, I was impressed by the large scale and the variety of flowers and trees planted. It felt so pleasant that I wondered if this was really a city." They added, "There are many spaces for children to play, and since there are no cars on the ground level, I feel safe and comfortable," expressing satisfaction.

Suncheon’s New 'Landmark Complex' with Diverse Communities and Excellent Product Quality

The auxiliary facilities are also diverse and grand, fitting for a large complex. The community space on the first and second basement floors includes fitness facilities, a multipurpose gymnasium and table tennis room usable by children and adults, and a golf practice range. Study rooms and reading rooms are also available. On the ground floor, a small library connected to a caf? and a kids' station where parents and children can comfortably stay are installed.

The interior design of the units is also excellent. Depending on the type, innovative floor plans such as a plate-shaped 4-bay structure with excellent ventilation and lighting, and an LDK (Living, Dining, Kitchen) layout offering an open feeling are applied. All units come standard with entrance doors, a 3-burner hybrid cooktop, and engineered stone countertops, maximizing luxury. Additionally, a basement storage room for bulky or infrequently used items is provided in every unit, helping to keep the interior neat.

A Hanyang official stated, "We put a lot of effort not only into landscaping but also into luxurious exteriors, interior product quality, and community facilities so that residents can feel proud of this landmark complex in Suncheon." They added, "We are grateful for the positive responses from residents and will do our best to ensure smooth occupancy during the remaining move-in period."
