Lineup Added Ahead of Peak Season
Sales Starting from Early 3 Million KRW Range
LG Electronics announced on the 28th that it has launched a new air conditioner model, the 'LG Whisen Tower II,' ahead of the summer peak season.
It was designed to harmonize with living room interiors. A key feature is the removal of the circular air outlet that was previously on the front of the Whisen Tower air conditioner. This change was made in response to customer requests for a cleaner front panel. To achieve a sleek design, mood lighting and various information-displaying circle lighting are digitally processed.
The product is released in three models: Deluxe, Special, and Heat, expanding customer price options. For the two-in-one model, the Deluxe's shipment price ranges from 3.15 million to 3.6 million KRW, and the Special ranges from 3.6 million to 4.05 million KRW. The Heat model is planned to be introduced later in the first half of the year.

The Whisen Tower air conditioner retains its key functions. These include 'Automatic Clean Management,' which manages indoor air along the airflow path; 'Self Clean Management,' allowing customers to clean the internal fan themselves; 'Pet Care Mode,' which alerts via the LG ThinQ app when the indoor temperature rises to the set value to prevent pets from overheating; and the customized operation system 'Smart Care.'
It also offers a 'Rental & Care Service,' where experts inspect the product once a year. The rental products are available in Platinum and Standard tiers. The Standard service includes cleaning the product exterior, performance checks of refrigerant and outdoor units, and filter inspection, cleaning, and replacement. The Platinum service additionally provides heat exchanger and cooling fan cleaning.
LG Electronics plans to apply R32 refrigerant to all Whisen stand air conditioner products this year. The global warming potential of R32 is about one-third to one-fourth that of conventional refrigerants.
