According to the post uploaded on the 22nd, the lecturer reportedly said things like, "These days, female students seem to have completely empty heads, but what are you going to do with an A+? Show it to your husband when you get married? Who are you trying to ruin?"

He also reportedly made misogynistic remarks such as, "Women open their eyes stupidly, and female students are lowering academic standards," and "Girls shouldn't come to Computer Engineering and take the spots of younger guys; they should just farm strawberries."

The lecturer continued with inappropriate remarks by referencing the Itaewon tragedy, in which many people in their twenties tragically lost their lives. Among netizens who saw the lecturer’s offensive remarks, critical reactions emerged, including "Even if this was said in the 1990s, it would be shocking, but to say this in 2023..." and "How can someone like that be a university lecturer?"

As the controversy grew, Hansung University began verifying the facts, and the lecturer reportedly admitted to the remarks and submitted their resignation.

A representative from Hansung University stated, "We have accepted the lecturer’s resignation," and added, "We have already taken all necessary measures to ensure that no problems such as class disruptions occur for the students due to this incident."
