SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won (63) and No So-young, director of Art Center Nabi (62), who is currently undergoing a divorce lawsuit with Chairman Chey, have filed a claim for alimony against Kim Hee-young, chairman of the T&C Foundation and Chairman Chey's cohabitant.

Noh So-young Files 3 Billion Won Alimony Lawsuit Against SK Chairman Chey Tae-won's Cohabitant Noh So-young, Director of Art Center Nabi, and Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group.

According to the legal community on the 27th, No's side submitted a lawsuit seeking damages worth 3 billion won against Chairman Kim to the Seoul Family Court on the same day.

Previously, Chairman Chey and No married in September 1988, the first year of the late President Roh Tae-woo's inauguration, and had three children, but their marriage ended in divorce.

Chairman Chey publicly revealed his relationship with Chairman Kim in 2015 and announced his intention to divorce No. In July 2017, Chairman Chey filed for divorce mediation, initiating formal legal divorce proceedings, but the mediation failed, leading to the start of an official divorce lawsuit in February 2018.

No, who initially refused the divorce, filed a counterclaim against Chairman Chey in December 2019, demanding 300 million won in alimony and requesting the division of half of the 12,975,472 SK shares held by Chairman Chey, amounting to 6,487,736 shares, as part of the property division.

The first trial of the divorce lawsuit ruled that "Chairman Chey must pay No 100 million won in alimony and 66.5 billion won in property division." However, the SK shares held by Chairman Chey requested by No were not included in the property division. Both parties appealed this case, and the appellate trial is pending at the Seoul High Court.
