Goseong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, has taken the first full step in the ‘Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) Work Environment Improvement Support Project.’
Started as a pledge project of the 8th local government administration, the ‘SMEs Work Environment Improvement Support Project’ aims to create good jobs by improving outdated facilities and poor working conditions within companies.
The county plans to select three small and medium-sized manufacturing companies registered in Goseong-gun with 10 to fewer than 300 employees and support up to 10 million KRW for renovation and repair costs of corporate welfare facilities such as dormitories, cafeterias, and restrooms (40% subsidy, 60% self-payment).
The application period is from the 27th to April 7th, and after screening, the supported companies will be selected in April.
Companies wishing to participate can check the recruitment announcement on the Goseong-gun Office website and apply in person or by mail to the Economic Enterprise Division’s Corporate Investment Officer.
Han Young-dae, head of the Economic Enterprise Division, said, “We will do our best to create an environment where companies can focus on stable business activities and where Goseong-gun workers can work in a clean and safe environment,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various support measures for SMEs.”
