In December last year, KORAIL signed a business agreement with Hanwha Hotels & Resorts and the Korea Social Enterprise Promotion Agency to strengthen the capabilities of social economy enterprises and support market development.

The three organizations selected two outstanding social enterprises, Durihanadaul and Eco Mom’s Mountain Village Baby Food, and assisted with the ‘rebranding project’ by improving the design of existing products and supporting market expansion in line with the train travel concept.

The products were reorganized into snack sets that can be easily enjoyed on trains and produced with new design packaging that can be reused as frames and other accessories. Additionally, the organizations will support new sales channels by utilizing their online and offline infrastructure. The products will be available from next month at ‘Storyway’ convenience stores in major railway stations such as Seoul Station and Busan Station, and from the 27th at Hanwha Hotels & Resorts’ Local Live platform.

Ko Jun-young, Acting President of KORAIL, said, "It is meaningful to support the independence of social economy enterprises and achieve mutual growth by utilizing railway infrastructure," adding, "We will actively promote co-growth through continuous collaboration with related organizations."
