The project is planned to take place at 332-69 Seokgwan-dong, Seongbuk-gu, Seoul. Through this project, a multi-family residential complex and auxiliary welfare facilities will be built, consisting of 4 buildings with 253 units in total, ranging from 2 basement floors to a maximum of 14 floors above ground. The construction period is 27 months from the actual start date.
The project site is known for its excellent residential environment in terms of transportation and education. First, Dolgoti Station on Seoul Subway Line 6 is located within a 2-minute walk, and nearby Seokgye Station (Lines 1 and 6) and Taereungipgu Station (Lines 6 and 7) provide easy transfer options. The opening of the GTX-C line at Gwangwoon University Station, scheduled for 2027, is expected to improve metropolitan accessibility. The site is also adjacent to the Dongbu and Bukbu arterial roads, facilitating easy vehicle access to major areas.
Additionally, Seokgwan Elementary School and Seokgwan Middle School are within a 5-minute and 15-minute walk, respectively. Furthermore, there are many university facilities nearby, including the Korea National University of Arts, Kyung Hee University, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Kwangwoon University.
In particular, the site is known to have high potential to become a new residential town within Seoul in the future. There are many redevelopment promotion areas nearby, such as Jangwi New Town and Imun Hwikyung New Town, which is expected to create synergy, according to DL Construction. Also, Seokgwan-dong in Seoul is known to be part of the Seoul Moa Town management plan.
Previously, DL Construction secured the construction rights for the nearby Seokgwan 1-3 and Seokgwan 1-7 districts. By securing the construction rights for Seokgwan 1-1 District this time, DL Construction plans to realize the creation of the 'first Moa Town' within Seongbuk-gu, Seoul.
