It was recently revealed that Song Rina, a professor at the University of London in the UK, has been sued by her ex-husband A for a change in parental authority and custody.

According to the Korea Economic Daily on the 27th, the complaint A sent to Song last November requested a change in parental authority and custody of their 7-year-old child. Previously, the two had disputed custody during their divorce process, and the court had ruled in favor of Song.

London University Professor Maxim in Photo Shoot... Ex-Husband Demands "Give Me Custody" Song Rina is a talented individual who earned her Ph.D. after attending the California Institute of Technology, Yale University, and Harvard University in the United States. She is currently a professor at the London School of Economics and gained attention by participating in Miss Maxim.

A cited as grounds for the request to change the child's custodian and guardian that "Song was taking antidepressants before the divorce and is mentally unstable," and claimed, "Recently, she seems to have lost will and confidence in parenting."

A particularly contentious issue raised by A was Song’s recent participation in the adult magazine Miss Maxim contest. He pointed out, "Song’s activities, such as shooting provocative photo spreads, are not good for the child’s education."

Song, who earned her PhD after attending Caltech, Yale, and Harvard in the United States, is currently a professor at the London Business School and became a topic of discussion for participating in Miss Maxim.

Song told the Korea Economic Daily, "I have done my best to raise my child as a guardian, and the child always comes first. However, receiving a lawsuit for custody change using my photo shoot activities as an excuse made me feel that my rights were being violated, which was difficult."

She added, "I believe every woman has the freedom to confidently express her own sexiness," and said, "I want to change the social prejudice that honest individuality cannot be expressed because of one’s profession, age, or social status."

Ko Hyung-seok, Song’s attorney, emphasized, "Changing parental authority and custody involves altering the current caregiving situation for the child," and added, "For it to be justified to designate the father instead of the mother as the custodian and guardian, it is necessary to consider the child’s age and caregiving circumstances."
