Good People and Foodist are helping small business owners struggling with restaurant operations.

The international relief and development NGO Good People (Chairman Choi Kyung-bae) announced on the 27th that it will start the self-employed win-win project "Making Successful Restaurants" together with Foodist (CEO Yoo Ju-yeol), a food (ingredient) platform company.

At the business agreement ceremony held on the 23rd at Foodist's headquarters in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Good People Director Jo Ji-hoon and Foodist Executive Director Yang Kyung-deok attended.

The self-employed win-win project "Making Successful Restaurants" with Sikjajaewang is a social contribution project that helps small business owners who are struggling with restaurant operations and independence to grow their businesses.

Sikjajaewang, the successful partner of self-employed restaurant owners in Korea, is the representative food ingredient brand operated by Foodist.

From March, Good People and Foodist will provide a self-reliance support fund of 1 million KRW per person to a total of 20 small business owners, two per month. In addition, an advisory group composed of experts from Foodist's in-house food safety team and facility safety team will provide customized consulting related to facility safety and hygiene at the business sites.

At the agreement ceremony, Foodist donated 20 million KRW from the win-win fund established for social contribution to Good People.

Son Chang-hyo, Head of Mart BU at Foodist, said, "We have newly signed a business agreement with Good People to continue supporting self-employed business owners nationwide," adding, "We will strive to ensure that the love shown by self-employed owners for Sikjajaewang returns as benefits to them."

Choi Kyung-bae, Chairman of Good People, said, "I hope that self-employed business owners struggling with business operations can make a great leap through this win-win project," and added, "Believing that the value of sharing conveyed to the owners will lead to greater love in the future, Good People will continue to carry out social contribution activities together with companies pursuing the value of 'win-win.'"
