Ulsan Museum (Director Jo Gyuseong) will screen the movie "Confession of a Female College Student" at 2 PM on the 29th in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the museum to celebrate the March 'Culture Day.'
The March screening, "Confession of a Female College Student," is a melodrama directed by Shin Sang-ok in 1958, his first popular genre film, starring Choi Eun-hee, Kim Seungho, Yoo Gyesun, and Choi Hyun.
The film depicts Korean society at the time through the story of a successful woman during a socially and economically challenging period.
It was a box office success that helped director Shin Sang-ok establish his position and found a film company.
Admission is free, and up to 200 people can enter on a first-come, first-served basis starting 20 minutes before the screening without a reservation.
For more details, please visit the Ulsan Museum website or contact the Ulsan Museum Exhibition and Education Team.
For April's Culture Day, Ulsan Museum plans to screen "Ttosuni," directed by Park Sang-ho in 1963.
