Shinsegae Department Store Hosts Large-Scale Shopping Festival 'Sinbaek Festa'

Shinsegae Department Store announced on the 26th that it will hold a large-scale shopping festival called ‘Shinbaek Festa’ from the 31st of this month until the 27th of next month.

During the Shinbaek Festa period, card promotional events will be held. In the fashion category, customers who pay 300,000, 600,000, or 1,000,000 KRW with Shinsegae affiliated cards such as Citi, Samsung, Shinhan, Hana, and BC Baro will receive a 7% gift certificate based on the purchase amount. In the electronics category, customers who purchase 2,000,000, 3,000,000, 5,000,000, or 10,000,000 KRW will receive a 7.5% gift certificate; in the bedding category, customers who purchase 600,000 or 1,000,000 KRW will receive a 10% gift certificate; and in the tableware and kitchenware category, customers who purchase 300,000, 600,000, or 1,000,000 KRW will receive a 10% gift certificate. In the watch and jewelry category, customers who purchase 1,000,000, 2,000,000, 3,000,000, 5,000,000, or 10,000,000 KRW will receive a 5% gift certificate.

More than 20,000 specially priced products carefully selected by Shinsegae buyers can also be found on the mobile application at discounts of up to 70%. Representative products include animal welfare certified organic eggs (15 pieces) for 3,800 KRW, Crudo organic extra virgin olive oil for 4,900 KRW, and Korean beef bulgogi (400g) for 14,200 KRW.

Shinsegae Department Store will provide discount coupons downloadable upon accessing the Shinsegae mobile app to celebrate Landers Day, held in conjunction with the opening ceremony of the professional baseball season. Under the theme ‘New Shoes for the Baseball Stadium,’ this special event offers popular shoes such as Nike and Converse at special prices. Representative products include Nike Air Max Dawn for 87,300 KRW, Skechers for 49,000 KRW, and Converse Chuck Taylor 70s Low for 59,000 KRW. Among customers who write cheering comments for SSG Landers, a drawing will be held to award exclusive department store skybox tickets at Incheon Munhak Stadium and Oakwood Premier Incheon hotel accommodation vouchers.

A furniture pop-up store will also be operated. A special pop-up event featuring a collaboration between British fashion designer Stella McCartney and Italian design company B&B will be presented. This exclusive pop-up, held only at the Gangnam branch on the 9th floor, introduces the new capsule collection of the Le Bambole sofa. Designed by Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini, Le Bambole is characterized by modern beauty, comfort that seems to embrace the body, and elasticity. Representative products include an armchair priced at 12,000,000 KRW and a three-seater sofa priced at 26,000,000 KRW.
