Active Support for Rest and Creative Idea Generation
County Governor Kim San: "We Will Make It a 'Happy Workplace'"
On the 24th, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do held an opening ceremony for the employee lounge ‘Saenggakmaru’ on the first floor of the county office welfare center, attended by about 50 people including County Governor Kim San, Lee Ji-hyung, head of the Muan-gun labor union branch, and employees from the county office youth executive meeting ‘Muan Talk’.

According to the county, there had been no proper rest area for employees until now, but it was established to improve employee welfare and working conditions.
The meaning of ‘Saenggakmaru’ is inspired by the idea that employees recharge in the lounge and come up with creative ideas for the development of county administration. Inside the lounge, there are snack tables, new books, and various convenience items.
Governor Kim San had a communication session with the ‘Muan Talk’ employees, a youth executive meeting within the county office composed of the MZ generation.
‘Muan Talk’ consists of 20 young public officials who have held autonomous meetings at least once a month since September last year, proposing various policies and leading innovative organizational culture activities.
Governor Kim San said, “I expect that stress relief through comfortable rest in Saenggakmaru will improve work efficiency and enable us to provide better county administration services to residents,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to create a ‘happy workplace’ by improving working conditions for employee welfare enhancement.”
