Over 600 Attendees Including Provincial Police Chiefs
The National Police Agency announced on the 24th that it held a nationwide police leadership workshop at the Police Human Resources Development Institute in Asan, Chungnam. About 600 people attended the workshop, including heads of city and provincial police agencies, police chiefs, and directors from the headquarters and city/provincial police offices.
Yoon Hee-geun, Commissioner of the National Police Agency, emphasized, "For the police to gain the trust of the people, they must have the capability to solve the problems faced by the public and build a community where everyone can feel safe, and we must dramatically enhance the police's capabilities." He added, "It is now time to solidly implement key policies and achieve results that the public can feel."
