Gangseo-gu Heo Jun Museum Hosts ‘Folk Paintings of Medicinal Herbs in Donguibogam’ Exhibition

On the 23rd, Kim Tae-woo, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, attended the ‘Folk Paintings of Medicinal Herbs in Donguibogam’ exhibition held to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the Heo Jun Museum (87 Heo Jun-ro, Gangseo-gu) and the 410th anniversary of the publication of Donguibogam, delivering a congratulatory message.

Mayor Kim said, “With the reopening of the Gyeomjae Jeongseon Art Museum, the special exhibition commemorating the 410th anniversary of Donguibogam’s publication, and the opening of Gangseo Artium, the culture and arts of Gangseo are flourishing.” He added, “We will continue to develop unique cultural and artistic content exclusive to Gangseo-gu and do our best to create a ‘Gangseo full of culture and arts.’”

Park Kang-soo, Mayor of Mapo-gu, Appoints Tourism Environment Security Officers to Enhance Mapo’s Brand Value

On the afternoon of the 23rd, Park Kang-soo, Mayor of Mapo-gu, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Tourism Environment Security Officers held in the audiovisual room on the 4th floor of Mapo-gu Office, encouraging the volunteers and sharing the district’s tourism vision.

At the inauguration ceremony, 50 Tourism Environment Security Officers (hereafter ‘Security Officers’) were appointed. The newly appointed 50 Security Officers pledged to take responsibility for a safe and pleasant tourism environment and to enhance Mapo’s tourism brand value, marking a strong start.

Mayor Park Kang-soo expressed, “I deeply appreciate the support of the volunteers for the development of Mapo’s tourism,” and stated, “To achieve a higher level of development for Mapo-gu, we will lead the district’s progress through cultural and artistic revitalization such as the creation of the Red Road and the redevelopment of infrastructure.”
