Musinsa announced on the 23rd that it will conduct a 'Snap Casting' event to find new boy group members in collaboration with Big Hit Music.
The Snap Casting will take place from the 27th of this month until April 9th. Participants can join by sharing a full-body photo that reveals their fashion taste on Musinsa Snap with the event hashtags (#SnapCasting · #BigHitMusic). Through this event, Big Hit Music plans to select members for its third boy group following BTS and Tomorrow X Together. Eligible participants are males aged 14 to 18, and the final successful candidates who pass Big Hit Music's audition process will be offered trainee contracts and training opportunities.
Musinsa Snap is a community service where anyone can share and showcase styling content that highlights their individuality. Since starting with street fashion content in 2005, it has functioned as a platform to enjoy various fashion trends and communication.
Regardless of casting results, participants who showcase unique fashion styles will receive special benefits. Among participants of any gender and age, the final three selected through internal screening from those who receive the highest 'likes' and comments on their Snap posts will be given the opportunity to have profile photos taken at a studio located in the HYBE building in Yongsan, along with a shopping support fund worth 500,000 KRW for the Musinsa Store.
A Musinsa representative said, "Musinsa Snap is a place where style icons and influencers from across the country gather, to the extent that many fashion people have become known through street fashion photos," adding, "Just as many stars were born through street casting in the past, we hope this Snap Casting will be an opportunity to discover the next generation of stars with potential."
