Wizit, a core component manufacturer for semiconductors and displays, announced on the 22nd that it recorded consolidated sales of 35.2 billion KRW, operating profit of 2.2 billion KRW, and net profit of 13.7 billion KRW last year.
The company stated that it has focused on technology development and facility investment in the semiconductor business division for several years in line with the growth of the semiconductor market. As a result, last year, it achieved a visible outcome of a 105% increase in semiconductor sales due to the expansion of global sales channels following the successful development of new items. Additionally, profitability greatly improved through cost competitiveness secured by production process efficiency and supply chain management (SCM) structural innovation.
Wizit produces Shower Heads, Face Plates, Shower pads, and other core components of the semiconductor CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) process, supplying them to the largest semiconductor manufacturers domestically and internationally, including Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. The company also has a semiconductor-dedicated production line capable of mass-producing high-quality products, equipped with ultra-precision hole processing equipment, a cleanroom with a cleanliness level of 100 class, and a semiconductor-exclusive cleaning line. Furthermore, it holds various related patents.
Meanwhile, last year, Wizit secured 12.2 billion KRW in facility investment and operating funds through a paid-in capital increase targeting special related parties of its largest shareholder, JSI Korea. Through this, the largest shareholder and special related parties increased their shareholding ratio to 25.5%, expressing a strong will to strengthen management rights and responsible management.
A Wizit official said, “Due to continuous supply requests from the largest domestic and international semiconductor manufacturers, the semiconductor business division’s steep sales growth trend is ongoing,” adding, “We plan to make this year the first year of business expansion, focusing more on expanding new items and innovating business structures to build a foundation for future growth, thereby solidifying our position not only in the domestic market but also in the global market.”
